Who we are
This website is operated by ELE Holdings Limited, trading as Greenstone, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11841029), with its registered office at 85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT ("Greenstone", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Where work is invoiced through our Israeli practice, a separate controller may apply; we will tell you if that is the case.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. It does not cover the separate terms on which we provide professional services, which are set out in our engagement documents.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Graph) to deliver that message to us.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we and our providers may collect technical and usage information such as your device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you interact with the site. This is described under "Cookies and analytics" below.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To understand how the site is used and to measure its performance.
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, grouped into three categories.
- Necessary. Required for the site to work, including security and remembering your cookie choices. These are always on.
- Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, including aggregate usage and on-page interaction. These load only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Marketing. With your consent, used to measure and improve our campaigns.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure traffic and performance; these are privacy-friendly and do not use cookies or identify you. Some of these tools may process information outside the United Kingdom. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
Legal bases for using your information
- Consent, for non-essential analytics and marketing cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests, to respond to enquiries, to keep the site secure, and to run privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation, where we must retain or disclose information by law.
Sharing your information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and our communications, including Microsoft, Google, and Vercel, each acting under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, and analytics information for the retention periods set by the relevant tools. We then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Subject to conditions, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.
How to contact us, and how to complain
For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@greenstn.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
