Free introductory sessions and assessments

We sometimes offer a free introductory session, sometimes described as a call, audit, review, assessment, or exposure scan, through this website. Any such session is a short, introductory conversation only, typically around thirty minutes. It is a general discussion based on limited information that you provide, and you receive a conversation rather than a written opinion or report. It is not a full audit, review, or analysis, and it is not legal, commercial, financial, or other professional advice.

Offering or holding such a session does not create a client, advisory, or fiduciary relationship, places us under no duty of care, and gives rise to no liability on our part. It is not a substitute for full, tailored advice, and any decision you take following it is at your own discretion and risk. A client relationship begins only when we have agreed terms of engagement in writing.

Quote requests and indicative estimates

Any quote, estimate, or indicative figure we provide, whether through the quote request form on this website, by email, or in conversation, is indicative only and given for general guidance. It is not a binding quotation, an offer to act, or a commitment of any kind.

Each estimate reflects only the information made available to us at the time and our understanding of the matter at that point. It is an approximation intended to give you a starting point for a conversation, not a fixed or final price, and it may change at any time without notice.

Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, any figure we provide covers our professional fees only. It does not include official or registry fees, translation, searches, disbursements, courier or bank charges, or any taxes. Fees are exclusive of VAT; VAT is charged where applicable.

In most matters we work to the figure indicated. However, if on reviewing your request we find that it involves additional varieties, jurisdictions, steps, or complexity beyond what was indicated, or that the work otherwise falls outside the assumptions on which the estimate was based, we may decline to act, choose not to proceed, or provide a revised estimate before any work begins.

No engagement, retainer, or obligation to act arises until we have agreed terms with you in a signed engagement letter. We accept no liability for, and give no warranty in respect of, any indicative figure provided before that point, and we are not bound by any number quoted or estimated.

Acceptable use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that could damage or impair it or interfere with another person's use of it.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on this website, including text, design, graphics, and logos, is owned by or licensed to Greenstone and is protected by intellectual property laws.
